How does it work?

The fish markets will connect their automated auctions system developed by AUTEC to the Auctions Server.

Remote buyers will connect to the Agents Server through the Internet and it that server they will be able to create their own agents using the tools provided by the server. These agents will be able to use the information available in the Web of Services. Then, they will be able to send them to a training environment in order to evaluate their behaviour. The agents with a purchase list will be sent to the Auctions Server to participate in the selected fish markets.

The agents will compete on the base of equal terms with the direct buyers physically present in the fish market where they participate, and will act on its own in an unassisted way, using techniques of Artificial Intelligence and on the base of the strategy and objectives defined by their owner.
