IIIA (Institut d'Investigació en Intel·ligencia Artificial)

The Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA) is a leader laboratory in Artificial Intelligence in Spain, belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC). It is located, since 1994, in the campus of Universidad Autònoma de Barcelona. It was founded in 1985 from an existing research group based in the CEAB of Blanes.

It participates in this project as a coordinator and provider of the intelligent agents' and virtual electronic auctions' technology.
